Cllr. Mary Campbell
Badsey & Aldington Parish Council – Badsey
Mary has lived and worked in Badsey for 20 years. She runs a business at Blackminster and is committed to her local communities. She has been involved with ‘Turn Evesham Pink’ in 2017, fundraising for the Worcester Hospital Breast Haven, and to setting up the Badsey Social Aid group to help the vulnerable locally. She has campaigned extensively on local and national issues.
As the originator of the group ‘Evesham Hospital Supporters’ she has a particular interest in local health services and is keen to see the Evesham area properly supported with adequate clinics and surgeries.
Mary was chair of the Badsey and Aldington Parish Council for 7 years and formalised many processes including introducing a planning committee that made decisions visible to residents. She was also part of the team that applied for and received funding for the recreation ground play equipment.
Mary is not afraid to speak out to support local services and residents and will encourage community discussion on all important issues.
